The Role

Who You Are

Key qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, with a strong focus on OpenShift (OpenShift is built on Kubernetes; experience with AKS, GKE, etc., is a plus)

  • GitOps, automation, and scripting experience

  • Solid background in programming/scripting (e.g., Java, C++, Bash, Python, Go, YAML)

  • Familiarity with Red Hat technologies (e.g., Ansible, RH Application Runtimes)

  • Strong DevOps mindset and practices

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments

  • Desired certifications: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator, CKA

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, manage, and scale OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters

  • Monitor and resolve incidents, especially involving Elastic and Kafka

  • Capacity and performance management

  • Incident and problem resolution (platform-level and application-related)

  • Implement and manage changes, collaborating across teams

  • Configure virtual networking and platform components

  • Install and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

  • Support 24x7 on critical issues, manage patching, updates, and backups

  • Prepare regular reports on performance and availability

  • Manage platform access (IDs, roles), certificates, and integrations (e.g., LDAP)

Profile:

  • 3–6 years of experience with Linux and AIX

  • Strong troubleshooting, team collaboration, and communication skills

  • Experience supporting complex infrastructures for medium-to-large clients

  • Proven decision-making ability and leadership in technical delivery

  • Technical certifications (Red Hat, cloud providers, etc.) are highly valued
