eBay, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Collect and analyze key data points regarding checkout and order to create new software product optimization initiative proposals for review by leadership team and stakeholders. Work with internal and external partners to introduce new buyer experience features (pre-transaction, checkout, and posttransaction) for eBay users worldwide. Create and manage the design, testing and implementation of new software products, features, and solutions. Manage project resources and personnel requirements. Periodically evaluate performance of Product, Operations, and Engineering Teams at each project checkpoint. Synthesize customer needs to determine system requirements for product upgrades. Provide direction and subject matter expertise to product engineers to ensure best practices and the consistent, uniform application of emerging technologies. Telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related field. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related quantitative discipline plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Base salary: $135,408 – 205,700 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
