Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven EDM Sales Specialist to join our Tokyo team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the sales of our Enterprise Data Management solutions in the Japanese market. This role requires a deep understanding of data management technologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in Japan.
    • Identify and target key accounts, building strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Engage with prospective customers to understand their data management challenges and requirements.
    • Present and demonstrate the value of EDM solutions to potential clients through tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on the implementation and benefits of EDM solutions.
  • Pipeline Management:

    • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a robust and healthy sales pipeline.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
    • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Collaboration:

    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote EDM solutions and network with industry professionals.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments in data management technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the technology or data management sector.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Deep understanding of Enterprise Data Management solutions and their applications in various industries.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into business value.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, is required.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
