Position Summary

The Systems Support Coordinator is a key staff member in the Office of the University Registrar (OUR), reporting to the Associate University Registrar for Systems and Technology. The position provides support and analysis for Workday Student process and usage, production calendars and OUR systems and processes. These tasks provide critical maintenance for the University's core student information systems and the related ecosystem of technologies and vendor solutions.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Workday Student System Support

  • Monitor and maintain duplicate record management process (UDMF), reviewing records details, evaluating validity and engage with Workday Support Teams (Student and HCM) and WUIT as necessary to resolve flagged records accurately and promptly, communicate with university admission partners regarding resolutions.

  • Intake, address and route support and routine maintenance requests.

  • Assist with batch processing for OUR and school/academic partners, coordinating with Workday Support Team.

  • Audit and monitor system users and business processes to ensure timely completion and appropriate activities.

OUR Systems and Process Support 

  • Maintain, monitor and improve intake mechanisms for support requests and inquiries, including existing tools such as ServiceNow, web form tools and email accounts.  Investigate new tools as appropriate.

  • Coordinate support mechanisms with OUR colleagues, WUIT and Workday Support Team to monitor time to completion, form fields and routing meet requested needs, and references to web content and resources remain current.

  • Assist with maintenance and communication related to production calendars.

Engage with Workday Student Maintenance and Support

  • Coordinate with OUR colleagues, Workday Support Team and WashU IT in maintaining system and integrations, i.e. testing and engaging with upgrades and ongoing maintenance.

  • Address support requests from campus partners and students and escalate as necessary in alignment with Workday support delivery model.

Maintain Office Standards and Expectations

  • Perform other duties as assigned; engage in professional development activities and study to improve professional skills, stay current on regulations and best practices; and effectively represent OUR and Washington University in St. Louis.

Salary Range

$23.37 - $36.19 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
