The Role
As a Change Consultant (CL9) within Accenture’s Talent & Organisation practice, you will support the delivery of enterprise-scale transformation programs across public and private sector clients in New Zealand. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver change strategies that enable successful adoption of new ways of working, technology, and operating models.
This role requires strong consulting capability, practical change delivery experience, and the ability to work effectively in complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver change management strategies aligned to business and transformation objectives
Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and readiness assessments
Develop and execute change plans including communications, engagement, and training approaches
Support leadership and workforce transitions during organisational and technology change
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across HR, technology, and business functions
Prepare high-quality client deliverables including presentations, reports, and change artefacts
Support client workshops, interviews, and engagement sessions
Contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Minimum Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 4–6 years’ experience delivering change management initiatives within a consulting or large enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience working on enterprise transformation programs (e.g. HR transformation, operating model change, digital or technology-enabled change)
Strong understanding of structured change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter or equivalent)
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing client-ready materials
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in ambiguous environments
Minimum Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Management, or a related discipline
Relevant change management certification (e.g. Prosci) is desirable but not mandatory
