Job Summary
Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) on operating mechanical equipment throughout the Hospital. Provides information for the P.M. program. Responds to emergency calls. Responsible for snow removal as needed.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Related Field of Study required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of mechanics, tool usage, and pneumatics.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk almost constantly. Occasionally required to work in confined areas.
- Interpersonal skills to exchange information with other shop’s personnel about work needed, to provide on-the-job training and to conduct formal skill-building training classes.
- NFPA Hot Work Certification required.
