Sr. Manager, Sales & Marketing

The Sr. Manager, Sales & Marketing is a hands-on role that manages and coordinates the sales and marketing activities within assigned regions), including the timely submission of proposals and bids. This role interprets the long and short-term effect of sales strategies with an objective to increase contract acquisition ensuring continued growth for the Business Unit

Your Challenge:

  • Translates sales and marketing strategies for implementation

  • Implements regional or business unit sales strategies

  • Analyzes geographic sales results and implements specific actions in underperforming regions

  • Maintains customer relationships in existing markets and achieving annual sales targets

  • Measures the existing markets and company's share

  • Develops marketing and business development strategies for new market penetration

  • Expands market share within existing and new accounts

  • Partners with other Curtiss-Wright sales, marketing and business development groups

  • Establishes and maintains close personal contact with customers, agents and prospects

  • Implements action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and financial performance

  • Travel to customer and prospect locations up to 30% of the time

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Engineering and/or related field

  • Proven sales management with 5+ years' experience (naval aviation experience desired)

  • Experience with scaling existing and new products and customers

  • Ability to effectively communicate, engage and influence senior leadership

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Strong business acumen

  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and a Canadian Government security clearance
