Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.
Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate order management - manage flow of services demands for 80+ gas power customers to drive on time delivery for gas turbine outages in the Americas.
  • Key contact for Customer Portfolio Managers and shop teams. Help drive customer issue resolution in addition to customer demands.
  • Drive all regional customer fulfillment KPIs, with a focus on fulfillment metrics.
  • Collaborate with global repair shops to optimize production planning and capacity utilization by managing backlog, balancing workloads and optimizing processes. Track and communicate order commitments and status updates to customers. Use influencing skills to achieve results not in your direct span of control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional P&L leaders and actively participate in regional operational and communication rhythms.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and technical know how regarding repairs processes. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Exercise judgment in proposing solutions beyond standard parameter, guided by prior experience and on-the-job training. Utilize internal resources and analytical/technical skills to address challenges.
  • Lead internal process definition and standard work development by applying lean tools.
  • Provides informal guidance to new team members
     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in either area Materials, Operations or Customer Fulfillment

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
