Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, translating these into detailed application requirements. The role includes designing tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives. Throughout the day, there is active engagement in refining application designs to ensure they effectively support business workflows, while also coordinating with various teams to facilitate smooth development and implementation of these solutions. Problem-solving and iterative improvements are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the applications remain aligned with evolving business demands.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Tagetik Planning Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes within enterprise environments.
- Experience in designing and implementing software solutions tailored to business process requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management within planning and forecasting systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Tagetik Planning Budgeting and Forecasting.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
