Job Summary:

The Assistant Account Manager - Commercial Lines will be responsible for policy maintenance and service of client accounts.  This position will be expected to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous support service to clients and coworkers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Check policy for accuracy (comparing it to the proposal and agency management system) and handle corrections according to agency guidelines

• Manage the change request and endorsement process according to agency guidelines

• As secondary contact, receive, review and document client and insurer correspondence (phone, email, mail, fax, etc.) in agency management system, according to agency guidelines

• Review follow up list on a daily basis and take appropriate action

• Prepare Certificates of Insurance

• Act as primary back-up for Associate Account Manager, handling immediate service needs as capable

• Prepare evidence and proofs of coverage and forward to appropriate parties

• Prepare loss summaries

• Prepare applications for re marketing and quote with different carriers

 

Qualifications:       

• HS diploma or equivalent

• Must possess and maintain active P&C License, or be willing to within 90 days of hire

• Demonstrated strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge

• Experience with Applied Epic or another agency management software preferred

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
