The Driveway and Fleet Insights team is responsible for the Wayfair Delivery Network Driveway app (Android) and visibility tool. The Product Manager in this role would work to build friction-free driver and dispatcher applications that facilitate the movement of goods across the Wayfair global network and enable visibility into every step of the driver journey. This role and the associated products help to uncover opportunities for the surrounding Wayfair ecosystem (e.g. Routing, Customer Notification, Special instructions) in order to address gaps/defects which enhance the customer delivery experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Areas of responsibility include solutioning in the Order Processing and Order Lifecycle Management spaces in order to support Wayfair’s growth and partner strategies in the e-commerce space.
  • Responsible for managing cross domain projects from discovery to delivery.
  • Manage and create technical API data contracts to support the, defining how users should interact with the platform 
  • Ensure we are building a reliable, scalable, and extensible platform that supports the post order customer shopping experience
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their businesses and co-develop impactful solutions that drive key business value.
  • Communicate and promote the product vision and progress throughout Wayfair including senior partners.

What You’ll Need

  • 4 + years building software products at scale from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Strong technical background with a passion for breaking down challenging problems and drive value incrementally
  • Sufficient industry literacy to participate in making key choices as well as effectively communicate with technical partners such as engineering.
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights. Some SQL experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior leadership level, as well as with cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of how API-focused products support business strategy and metrics
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action & customer-focused innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
