This role requires a proactive, business-oriented thinker who can own projects from idea to execution—rapidly understanding stakeholder needs, uncovering actionable insights from complex data, and building products that drive efficiency and value for fleet customers and service providers. The Analyst will also support efforts to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities that reduce costs, increase operational effectiveness, and shape the future of data products across the organization.

Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process of developing analytics solutions and data products, from ideation and requirements gathering through design, development, deployment, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Rapidly understand business processes and challenges by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable analytics and data product opportunities.
  • Identify, design, and build innovative data products that address current and future needs for fleet customers and service providers, such as dashboards, predictive maintenance tools, and performance scorecards.
  • Leverage large, complex datasets and advanced analytical techniques to uncover insights that help fleet customers proactively manage their fleets and enable service providers to operate more efficiently and profitably.
  • Proactively seek and implement opportunities to use AI and machine learning to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and automate data analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research emerging AI technologies and methodologies, and lead the development of innovative AI-powered data products that address evolving business needs and create new value for fleet customers and service providers.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a consultative partner to business leaders, product teams, and clients.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives, including data cleanup, feature engineering, and enabling accurate analytics and insights across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and consulting skills.
  • Strong familiarity and hands on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Looker, and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience with relational databases and data warehouses, including technologies such as SQL Server, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena, GCP BigQuery, and Snowflake, with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms and their services, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure, for data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language, such as Python, for data manipulation, automation, and analytical tasks.
  • Basic understanding and experience with version control tools, particularly GitHub, for collaborative development and code management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build partnerships across technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can travel, up to 5% of the time.
