Junior Category Manager Small Format
The main goal of the role is to be a strategic partner to our KAM and clients to give reliable and consumer-oriented recommendation resulted in total category growth.
Leadership of category management agenda:
- Deep analysis of brand performance and being expert of the market drivers and trends
- Identify business opportunities and preparing sales recommendation based on channel and customer specific including company's priorities per Category (shelf, assortment, planogram, Perfect Store) based on Image recognition analytics
- Be a partner for clients' internal process i.e. preparing the analytical data with recommendations for workshop, portfolio review process with customers and preparing planograms
- Developing and implementing shelf building programs (managing external agencies to deliver expected outcomes)
- Close cooperation with all other key MDLZ business functions (Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Category Development, Shopper insights)
- Managing and developing one direct report
- Building long term relationship with key customers behind: strong business recommendation proven by sales results.
- Influencing Key Customer on their assortment, promotional and strategy decisions, based on analytical facts
- Preparing and presenting analytical driven recommendations for clients, portfolio review process with customers and preparing planograms
- Setting up and executing the annual plan of category management projects in cooperation with Senior Key Account Managers
- Management and tracking of team budget according to Mondelez procedures
- University degree and minimum 3-year experience in FMCG or consulting company, category management (Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Analytical departments)
- Experience in Category Management is highly preferred
- Persuasiveness, communication
- Strong analytical and presentation skills and ability to sell ideas
- Very good communication of English and Polish (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and organization skills to manage multiple tasks
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Familiarity with market data and tools (CMR, Nielsen, Spacemen, Focus) would be an advantage
- Contract for an indefinite period without a trial period
