Do you want to be introduced to the world of insurance and become part of an international team? We are currently looking for a student worker to join our Nordic Underwriting Accident & Health Team in downtown Helsinki, located on the street Kasarmikatu. This is a part time student worker position with approx. 15h/week.

Start date for this role is preferably as soon as possible.

Understanding insurance, supporting the team, gaining experience
As a student worker in A&H, you will be handling various administrative tasks within underwriting with focus on Accident & Health insurance products. You will be interacting with different stakeholders both internally and externally and you will get valuable experience of working in a global insurance company servicing multinational companies. Your tasks will consist of:
Supporting our Underwriters with various admin tasks
Filling out technical raters to assess risks
Providing booking instructions and draft insurance documents
Interacting with clients and other AIG offices around the world
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who are currently pursuing a higher education within a relevant academic field (e.g., economics, finance, international business or other relevant studies). Preferably, you are currently finishing your bachelor’s degree or in the beginning of your master’s degree with at least 2 years left before graduating. The right candidate can also identify with the following qualities:
Is structured, service minded and eager to take on new challenges
Have great written and verbal communication skills in both Finnish and English (bonus points for Swedish communication skills)
Is a qualified excel user and has a flair for IT
Keeps a positive mindset – even when things are moving fast and with tight deadlines
