The BIM CAD Specialist supports Facilities Operations through Revit-based authoring, maintenance, and quality control of QTS data center BIM assets in accordance with established BIM standards. This role is delivery-focused, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and operational readiness of facility asset data throughout the asset lifecycle.

Reporting to Senior BIM Manager, the BIM Specialist will be part of a growing team responsible for updates and the maintenance of Revit models supporting facilities change management of Revit as the systems of record. The role partners with BIM leadership, facilities stakeholders, and integration teams to support standardization, data integrity, and long-term asset usability. This position is designed as a growth role with progression toward advanced BIM, integration, or innovation-focused responsibilities.

Revit Authoring & Asset Management

· Author, modify, and maintain Revit models for QTS data center assets in compliance with BIM standards.

· Update model assets to support operational changes, retrofits, and standardization initiatives.

· Ensure model accuracy, data completeness, and consistency across assigned deliverables.

· Apply approved families, parameters, naming conventions, and data structures.

· Perform quality assurance checks and model audits to maintain high-fidelity asset data.

· Be willing to adopt and learn new technologies and be open to mentorship.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts
  • 1–3 years of experience in BIM delivery with hands-on Revit model development and standards compliance.

    BS in Architecture, MEP, Building Science or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency with:

  • Autodesk Revit (2023–2025); Revit certification preferred

  • Revit family content creation

  • AutoCAD (2024–2025)

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360)

  • Navisworks Manage

  • Revizto a plus
