Senior DevOps Engineer, Pondera

We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and operations, with expertise in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes. This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

About the Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible
  • Automate processes using Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery
  • Manage version control systems and branching strategies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices

About You:

You are a fit for the position of Senior DevOps Engineer if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of DevOps development experience.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong command of Linux operating systems and administration
  • Experience with scripting and automation in Windows environments
  • Programming and scripting for automation and tool development using Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management and automation with Ansible.
  • Experience using Git version control and collaborative development.
  • Windows system administration
  • Cloud hosting experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $100,900 - $187,300. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $91,700 - $170,300. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
