Channel strategy planning & implementation

  • Considering company's ARVR strategy & market development trends, formulate a national channel development strategy & landscape (e.g. regional distributions, online & offline channels, etc.), and define channel development goals & implementation roadmaps, which is consistent with the company's overall business objectives

Channel development & management

  • Make full use of the company's existing business channel resources to build a diversified sales channel network for ARVR products & solutions, covering national distribution, retail & other formats

  • Proactively identify potential channel partners, including but not limited to ECPs, consumer electronics retail stores & offline brand experience stores

  • Based on the channel development goals & product positioning of ARVR customers, negotiate business plans & commercial terms; then lead collaboration discussions, contract signing, & implementation with channel partners to quickly build a wide-coverage channel network and drive sales

Channel policy formulation & execution

  • Design a reasonable channel policy system, covering rebate mechanisms, price control, inventory management, market support policies, etc. to balance the interests of the company, customers & channels partners and avoid channel conflicts

  • Supervise the implementation process of policies; collect feedback from channels; adjust & optimize policies in a timely manner to ensure channel stability & enthusiasm

Performance achievement & monitoring

  • Formulate annual, quarterly & monthly channel sales targets, and divide them into various regions & channel types

  • Monitor sales data (e.g. sales volume, sales revenue, market share); analyze reasons to performance gaps; collaborate with channel partners to develop improvement plans to ensure the achievement of overall sales targets; and regularly submit channel performance reports & market analysis to the management

Channel optimization & empowerment

  • Regularly evaluate the operating status of existing channel partners (including sales performance, market coverage, customer feedback, etc.), and continuously optimize the channel structure

  • Develop targeted channel empowerment plans, including product training, sales skills training, and planning & implementation of marketing activities; improve channel partners' product promotion capabilities & service levels, while further enhance the company's brand awareness & market share

Market insight & feedback

  • Keep a close eye on development trends of ARVR & eyewear industries, policy changes & competitor dynamics (e.g. competitors' channel strategies, pricing systems & product advantages)

  • Collect & organize relevant information to provide support for the company's channel strategy adjustment, product optimization & market decision-making

Team collaboration & empowerment

  • Collaborate with the product / R&D teams to feedback customer needs & product improvement recommendations collected from channels

  • Collaborate with the marketing & sales teams to promote marketing activities (e.g. new product demo events, offline roadshows & promotion activities) to enhance product brand awareness & channel sales conversion

  • Maintain close communication with the ARVR global team to ensure channel strategy in China in line with global strategies, and get adequate resources & support

Education

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably in marketing, business administration, electronic information engineering, optical engineering, and other related majors

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of sales channel management working experience, ideally in the consumer electronics or smart wearables industries
  • Channel management experience in leading consumer electronics brands or having successfully built a nationwide channel network is highly preferred
  • Relevant experience in new retail, distributor management, or key account direct sales

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiar with channel operation models in the smart hardware industry (e.g. distribution, direct sales, new retail, etc.), and experienced in channel development, negotiation & management
  • Equipped with strong market insight & data analysis skills, able to precisely identify channel issues through analyzing sales data & market feedback, and formulate solutions
  • Excellent communication, coordination & negotiation skills, capable of efficiently connecting with customers & channel partners for implementation
  • Result-oriented, with a strong sense of goal & responsibility, and resistance to high-pressure
  • Proactive with entrepreneurial pioneering & innovative spirit, and able to quickly respond to market changes & channel challenges
  • Exceptional team work to integrate resources & drive cross-functional collaborations, and able to communicate efficiently & effectively with global ARVR team
  • Willing to travel
  • Strong interest in the smart glasses industry & understanding the industry's technology trends & use cases is a plus
