About this role
This position aims to establish strong partnerships with major car rental companies and franchisees in Japan, delivering convenient rental car experiences to Klook users. We are seeking a business development professional with expertise in the car rental industry to help build mutually beneficial relationships.


With the growing demand for rental cars among both domestic and international travelers, especially for offering a variety of transportation options to overseas visitors, this role is vital to Klook’s mission. Are you ready to bring your passion and expertise to Klook?


What you'll do

  • Aim to expand our car rental offerings to meet the needs of Klook’s rapidly growing domestic and international user base.
  • Account Management: Build and nurture relationships with partners to maximize sales potential through Klook, while effectively communicating Klook’s business strengths and brand value to suppliers.
  • Product Optimization: Enhance the quality of our offerings by optimizing pricing, inventory, content, and booking flow, ensuring we maintain a market-leading position.
  • Internal Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with various internal teams (marketing, customer service, finance, and technology) to drive traffic and revenue.
  • Additional Expectations: Identify trends in the car rental market, providing up-to-date insights on the market and competitors through continuous research and feedback.


What you’ll need

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in business development, account management, or sales. (Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Senior Associate position)
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
