The Growth Experience and Platform team is responsible for driving and enabling growth in customer engagement, activation, and retention in ways that ultimately help a customer Move.

In this role, you’ll manage a team of exceptional Product Managers to:

- Empower shoppers with our best tools that help them complete their moving journey across both the Web and App platforms.

- Grow user understanding so we can deliver a personalized shopping experience

- Build Growth platforms that scale experimentation and personalization.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced product leader to own product strategy and execution of our efforts to better connect with Zillow shoppers and help them get the most out of Zillow. The role will require deep passion for customer experience across the Website and App. Candidates should have enthusiasm for creative and data-informed thinking, the ability to fluidly debate high level strategy and then dive into the details, strong negotiation and persuasion skills, and extremely strong written and verbal communication.

You will foster cross-functional and cross-team collaboration by working closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, the rest of the product team, and executive leadership to articulate a strategy, navigate competing priorities, and drive growth in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll push the envelope on what tomorrow’s experiences will be for millions of home buyers, sellers and renters.

You Will Get To:

  • Set a compelling vision and strategy for your product area, and define the next generation of Growth products and platforms for Zillow.

  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to identify opportunities, craft a story, and make strong prioritization decisions that materially grow the business.

  • Look around corners to spot opportunities for innovation and place bets that will inflect growth

  • Stay abreast of and even pioneer industry changes that unlock new opportunities

  • Lead a team of exceptional product managers. You’ll coach and develop the team to be the next generation of leaders for Zillow

  • Build and maintain positive relationships within the engineering, design, data science and marketing teams, with Zillow leadership, and with peers around the company

  • Be an authority in demonstrating Zillow’s Core Values and Leadership Expectations

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $209,400.00 - $334,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 7+ years building products that generate significant user and business impact

  • 5+ years of experience growing and managing a team of product managers across diverse product spaces

  • A strategic product thinker with a track record of identifying new opportunities in a changing technical and market landscape

  • A strong track record of making good, hard decisions in ambiguous situations

  • A well demonstrated ability to ruthlessly prioritize and build processes that scale

  • Models optimism, motivating everyone inside and outside of your team to achieve ambitious outcomes

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, iterative product development culture

  • Motivated by intellectual challenges and has a competitive drive to win in the market

  • Prior experience in Growth concepts and techniques
