Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 3D components, assemblies and 2D drawings using Creo for manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively
  • Develop BOMs in windchill and design documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and internal design practices
  • contribute to continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives

Must have competencies:

  • Able to design sheet metal assemblies in alignment of industrial designs
  • Proficiency in Creo (mandatory) for 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailing
  • Good analytical and mechanical design skills
  • Good understanding of fits, tolerances and GD&T concepts and their application in engineering drawings
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Good to have competencies:

  • Experience or exposure to pump design / rotating equipment
  • Understanding of electric motor
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes specially sheet metal
  • Awareness of industry standards
  • Exposure to design validation and testing processes
  • Ability to Python-based design automation and optimization tools will be an added advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Creo (part modelling, assemblies, drawing)
  • Experience in sheet metal modules within CAD tools
  • Familiarity with MS Excel for engineering calculations and data handling
  • Familiarity with windchill

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering

Experience:

  • 2-4 Years
