Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary:
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration. You will be responsible for scripting, monitoring automation execution, and managing incidents with a focus on service restoration. Additionally, you will handle compute, network, storage, security, and automation incidents/requests. Your role will also involve managing the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle server software and related products.
• Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle-related products.
• Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Plan and implement capacity and resource expansion to ensure scalability of Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
• Perform database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime.
• Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
• Work with developers to optimize SQL queries and database access.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database security management.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration.

- Strong understanding of database administration principles.
- Experience in managing and maintaining Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle databases.
