Job Description

You are joining the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) software engineering team within Dimetra Software Engineering department. We use agile frameworks and handle a dense roadmap of new features with a full product lifecycle responsibility. We offer our Dimetra technology for a variety of clients, mostly within governmental but also commercial space (for example you  will develop systems used by different emergency services across Europe).

You will be

  • Developing and supporting new features in an embedded product written in C and C++

  • Ensuring by frequent integration that your code works (on a HW you can touch in the lab)

  • Taking part in sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives


Basic Requirements

As a software engineer you will require

  • Knowledge of C, C++ programming languages

  • 5+ years software development experience

  • Communicate with clarity and precision in English both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of Linux.

  • Knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent

Above and beyond

  • Background in software development for embedded systems, telecom, public safety or similar environments

  • Know-how in re-engineering and refactoring

  • Real-time operating systems programming experience
