As a Project Leader, you will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget constraints. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Leader will also lead the definition of the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

In this role you will:

  • Manage projects to meet specified deadlines and requirements.
  • Consult and interface with information technology (IT) employees, vendors, customers, and management in coordinating assigned projects and tasks.
  • Ensure requirements are identified by reviewing all project materials and interacting with the IT team(s) to plan for support.
  • Provide regular status reports to the project principal, clearly outlining accomplishments since the last report, latest financial projections, and current expectations to completion, risks, fallbacks, and alternatives.
  • Ensure, along with other leaders, that the Company’s values and related management policies, procedures, and practices are strongly supported and implemented consistently throughout the operating unit.
  • Maintain the IT Project Portfolio and Environmental Calendar.
  • Consistently strive to build project management maturity and professionalism at the organizational level.
  • Ensure project team members understand the requirements and their roles for making the project a success.
  • Assist in implementing project management best practices.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project management required; 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Two-year degree required; Four-year degree in Project Management, Decision Science, or Computer related field of study preferred
  • Experience with the technology and multi-practice disciplines associated with IT projects, project management principles and strategies, and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and strategies
  • Planning, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and conflict management skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills; ability to take appropriate risks
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all organizational levels within the Company and external constituents
  • Demonstrates a forward-looking, results-oriented perspective in motivating, inspiring, and managing people conducive to teamwork
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple project teams

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office

Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at is starting at $98,000 depending on experience.
