The Senior Finance Analyst role will support Medtronic’s market benchmarking and reporting, lead key financial and innovation metric analysis, and partner directly on long-range financial planning and our annual strategic planning process. This role requires partnership across the organization with various stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities of a strategic Senior Financial Analyst include:
Conduct financial and strategic analysis of market and competitive performance
Own and evolve reporting on Medtronic share trending across key therapies and segments
Manage recurring KPI reporting across business units, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact towards performance goals
Monitor financial and operational performance metrics for targeted metrics, identifying trends and implications
Collaborate with systems teams to refine and enhance KPI dashboards that empower stakeholders with actionable insights
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on performance goals
Support strategic planning and forecasting with data-driven insights
Drive automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce manual efforts
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms
Support key business processes through partnership with corp FP&A team
What You Bring:
Strong Excel and financial modeling
Analytical mindset – you can extract insights from complex data and translate them into actionable strategies
Strong communication skills – you make data meaningful and impactful
Detail-oriented and organized – you deliver high-quality work that is reliable and timely
Experience in corporate finance, consulting, FP&A, or a similar analytical role is a plus

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 2+ years)
