We are looking for YOU as R&D Program Manager (m/f/d) for our location in Braunschweig.

These challenges await you:

• Manage complex ADAS: Oversee the development and integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), Driving the engineering teams and suppliers to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

• Manage program development according to ASPICE L2/L3 methodology: Ensure compliance with industry standards, process maturity, and continuous improvement in hardware, software and system development practices.

• Manage program changes: Implement effective and lean change management processes to evaluate, approve and communicate changes to the program scope, schedule or budget.

• Steer program & escalation: Take ownership of the development in the whole program, making decisions and escalating issues to the Director level when necessary.

• Steer the achievement of Development Milestones & KPIs: Monitor and manage multiple development projects within the program, tracking development progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful delivery.

• Resolve projects technical issues: Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks, conflicts or resource constraints that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

• Steer customer technical communication & manage relationships: Establish and maintain strong communication channels with customers, gaining the customer trust on technical level, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the program lifecycle.

• Ensure technical program scope & delivery: Define and maintain the technical scope, ensuring that all deliverables are met within the agreed-upon requirements, timeframe and budget.

• Facilitate decision-making & team readiness: Guide and support the team in making informed decisions, providing necessary resources and fostering a collaborative environment.

• Lead & develop team members: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. 

You inspire us with that:

• 10+ years' experience in technical project/program management, ideally in a fast-paced, complex business environment

• Solid knowledge of ADAS system and track record in the development of ADAS solutions.

• Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional development programs and deliver results

• Management of program team > 200 employees (functional link)

• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset and enhanced capability of Ticket-Steering of full program

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Stakeholder management up to OEM department lead level
