Job Summary

Our Corporate Development and Strategy team is currently seeking an Intern to support corporate development activity. This candidate will be a part of a fast-paced team working on a wide range of projects. The candidate will support day-to-day activities, including company and market research, financial modeling and analysis and transactional support. Projects may also include assisting the group with proactive efforts through research and analysis of available corporate, financial, patent, and legal information. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to define project requirements based on the group's stated goals, and develop creative solutions utilizing available technology and tools.

Responsibilities:  

• Assist the Corporate Development and Strategy team on projects relating to Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Intelligence, and Corporate Strategy, including but not limited to:  

• Partnership and new product research  

• Sourcing and presentation of potential M&A opportunities  

• Customer/market analysis  

• Preparation of quarterly board update materials  

• Participate in strategy and analytics projects with other InterDigital departments as necessary  

• Opportunity to take ownership of certain aspects of high-impact projects with a wide range of stakeholders including business unit leads and executive management 

• Potential to present portions of work to senior leaders and executive management  

Qualifications:  

• Adaptability – You will track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success, while working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment  

• Problem Solving – Develop your critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills to generate innovative ideas, identify trends, and disseminate the business impact of findings to internal stakeholders  

• Active Learner – Ability and appetite to learn quickly is critical as you expand your knowledge and build your skill sets  

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for creative problem-solving and process improvement 

• Currently enrolled in your Junior or Senior year of a Bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field 

• Local candidates preferred
