What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a Whey Operator in Luxemburg, WI.

The Whey Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of whey equipment, processing whey into high quality whey ingredients by following standard procedures, method and practices.

  • $24.37/hour
  • $1.50 Shift Differential
  • Double Time on Sundays and holidays
  • 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule
    • 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

\What you need to join our team:  

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. 
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • No experience required; in house training provided

Luxemburg, WI

  • Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to about 170 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as various whey streams.

    Luxemburg is located between Lake Michigan and Green Bay, WI. Luxemburg offers the benefits of small town living while only minutes from a multitude of entertainment options.
