About the Role

The role involves managing Non Stratplan system enhancements to establish optimal timelines, costs, and target dates, ensuring alignment with new regulations and market shifts to pioneer streamlined business processes. It requires delivering top-notch technology solutions promptly, maintaining system quality for both Business and IT, with the goal of positioning AIA among the top three in the Indonesian market. The position also entails owning high-quality assurance resources, solutions, and timelines for all company system changes outside of the Stratplan, while implementing automation to reduce system defects. Additionally, the role demands adherence to Group standards and the execution of the System Design Life Cycle to ensure the best system delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Entails fostering strong relationships with management, teams, and vendors through effective communication and solution-oriented discussions.
• The role requires ownership of Breakthrough enhancements, ensuring timely delivery, and a willingness to extend work hours to meet objectives.
• The candidate must adhere to Indonesian working days and commit to delivering high-quality system enhancements within strict deadlines.
• Developing and documenting internal Breakthrough policies and procedures, complying with IT standards, and managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are key responsibilities.
• The role involves securing finance approvals for ad-hoc projects, maintaining collaborative relationships with strategic and finance teams, and being accountable during system development audits.
• As a point of contact for Breakthrough areas, the candidate will collaborate with various heads and teams to provide audit evidence.
• Effective communication in Bahasa Indonesia and ensuring IT collaboration within the Breakthrough team are essential.
• The job includes creating and managing a team of skilled experts, raising awareness of AIA’s standard system enhancements, driving IT Breakthrough initiatives, evaluating vendors and solutions, leveraging best practices, and strategically leading business processes and system solutions.
• The candidate must also facilitate discussions, assure business needs are met, and be proactive during incidents to ensure business continuity.
• Efficiently formulate and execute the best project plans within tight deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulations and approval from management.
• The role involves leading discussions to remove obstacles in daily operations, particularly those arising from sudden management demands, while maintaining high-quality engagement.
• Will be responsible for proposing and managing the IT breakthrough budget, including its formulation, execution, and organizational structure development.
• They will also optimize technology solution costs across the organization by balancing internal and external resources.
• The role includes supervising and evaluating the performance of team members, collaborating with external trainers and HR to enhance team skills, and ensuring the availability of competent resources to improve divisional performance.
• Additionally, the candidate will manage and execute AIA Non-Stratplan projects, ensuring thorough collection of user requirements, delivery of effective solutions, and support in user training and deployment preparation.

Requirements

• Seeking a distinguished professional who has flourished in the IT realm, boasting at least 12 years of experience in roles such as IT Project Management, IT Business Analysis/System Analysis, IT Applications, and IT Testing. Your journey should include noteworthy achievements as a Breakthrough Collaborator Lead within a multinational enterprise or a premier management consultancy.
• Your expertise should encompass a robust understanding of the System Design Life Cycle, Azure Cloud technology, AS400/Life Asia, BABOK, PMBOK/PMP/PRINCE, and AGILE methodologies. Certifications in the insurance sector and from AAJI are imperative.
• You should be conversant with IT SDLC management and automation tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and MS Project. We value individuals who have an eye for innovation, with the capacity to pinpoint novel opportunities, articulate, and bring to fruition inventive concepts.
