Wells Dog and Cat Hospital is actively seeking an experienced veterinarian technician. The ideal candidate will be confident working with the veterinary, technician and customer service staff. Be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery and surgical recovery areas. Capable of proper animal handling and restraint. Have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, drawing blood and running bloodwork, including how to use laboratory equipment. Our next team member will need to support the importance of client education. We are seeking a positive and supportive team player who strives to continue and increase their knowledge in the veterinary industry. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and at Wells Dog and Cat Hospital we support and encourage our staff to do the same. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician
  • Knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive and supportive team player
