At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
Project Manager / Change Manager
You will join the Project & Change Management Team within the Global Customer Support (GCS) organization. Your mission? Leading complex, high-impact change initiatives and driving the successful adoption of global strategies across Roche Diagnostics.
You won’t be doing this alone - you are joining a team of "real-life heroes". We are looking for another resourceful, "can-do" person to join our ranks. We offer support, a collaborative atmosphere, and the space to actually make an impact.
At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be combining Project Manager and Change Manager skills by:
Lead & Drive: Spearhead complex, cross-site GCS projects and programs, taking ownership of day-to-day execution and decision-making in close alignment with the Project Lead and our global strategic goals.
Navigate the Matrix: Build and guide cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment. Cultivate and guide cross-functional teams in a global environment by leading through influence; providing the steady, behind-the-scenes stewardship necessary to maintain momentum and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Drive Adoption: Orchestrate strategic stakeholder engagement and communication efforts to ensure global initiatives are not just "launched," but truly adopted.
Connect the Dots: Identify interdependencies, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure documentation meets high standards.
Mentor & Influence: Act as a thought leader. Share your expertise in change principles, guiding senior stakeholders through their responsibilities in the transition process.
Challenge the Status Quo: Proactively propose and pilot innovations or technology-driven solutions that make our project delivery more effective.
Who You Are:
We believe that the right attitude and a growth-oriented mindset are far more valuable than a long list of certificates. We are looking for a practitioner who understands how the business breathes.
Experience: 5+ years of working experience, ideally 3+ years in Project/Change Management or a role with similar transferable skills. Crucially, we are looking for someone who understands the "Affiliate world" – experience in a local Affiliate Service/Marketing organization or a Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) is a major advantage.
The "How" over the "What": You know how internal affiliate processes work and how a global change impacts a local affiliate.
Project & Change Skills: You have a solid toolkit of PM and OCM methodologies. If you have certifications (Prosci, Prince2, PMP, Agile) – that’s great! If not, but you have the experience and the right attitude, we still want to talk to you.
Strategic Translation & Stakeholder Activation: You can turn global "corporate-speak" into local, resonating value. You excel at activating local resources - even when they have limited capacity - by providing clear, actionable pathways that respect their high workload and simplify their execution
Big-Picture & System Thinking: You can see the system interdependencies and coordinate impacts across various initiatives without losing sight of the details.
Proactive Information Distillation: You don’t wait for a formal briefing. You have the ability to hunt for and extract information from busy subject matter experts with minimal friction, distilling it into clear insights
Communication Mastery: You are a negotiator and a resilient influencer. You can synthesize complex business processes into clear benefits for diverse stakeholder groups.
Influencing Without Authority & "Leading from Behind": You are a master at navigating complex stakeholder dynamics. You know how to plant the seeds of an idea and build consensus subtly, ensuring the project moves forward even when faced with gatekeepers or skeptical leadership.
Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. You are comfortable navigating a complex, international matrix environment.
