To complement our DevOps Team in Troisdorf, we are searching for a Devops Engineer / Software Build and Release Engineer (f/m/d) to support our DevOps activities.

Your responsibilities:

• You decide about on-prem & cloud-based hosting and development environments
• You will create the software build and release packages for the customers and drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• You will simplify and communicate complex deployment architectures
• You will demonstrate strong ownership, urgency, and drive in all tasks
• You will work independently and hands-on with cutting-edge cloud technologies, particularly focusing on Microsoft Azure
• You will be responsible for writing, updating, and managing software installers to ensure smooth deployments
• You will collaborate closely with build engineers, development teams, and support teams, both internally and externally
• You will optimize automated build systems to streamline development processes
• You will troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to maintain system integrity and performance

Your Profile:

• Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent
• Many years of experience as Devops Engineer or comparable
• Experience in build, release, and deployment on Microsoft technologies
• Proficient in programming with C#.NET and using build tools like MSBuild
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Git
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Batch and PowerShell
• Comfortable liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of monitoring systems and CI/CD pipeline setup
• Familiarity with Windows Installer (MSI) technology and packaging tools like WIX
• Ability to handle high pressure situations & multitasking
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross cultural teams spanning globally
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
