ELECTRON BEAM WELDER – 2ND SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate CNC-controlled electron-beam (EB) welding machines including part set-up
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules
  • Upkeep general machine maintenance and test
  • Utilize EB welding on several types of metal including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and Inconel

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of welding experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in electron beam welding
  • Experience with high and low voltage machines
  • Experience with both manual and robotic welding applications
  • Experience with TIG welding
  • Knowledge of AWS D17.1

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work 2nd shift schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Must be available for overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight space

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:          

Electron Beam Welder/Level 1: $22.00 - $27.00/hour     
Electron Beam Welder/Level 2: $25.00 - $32.50/hour     
Electron Beam Welder/Level 3: $30.00 - $38.00/hour             

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
