Senior RevOps Analyst

Transform data into advantage. Operationalize insights. Build the systems and strategies that fuel sustainable revenue growth.

The Role You’ll Play:

The Senior RevOps Analyst plays a central role in driving how CB Insights grows. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Product, this role owns the systems, analytics, and processes that power the go-to-market engine.

You’ll lead initiatives that connect strategy to execution — ensuring our teams are enabled with clean data, actionable insights, and scalable processes. You’ll move fluidly between analytical depth and strategic influence, guiding GTM leaders to make smarter, faster, evidence-based decisions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can both build and lead — a builder who enjoys structure, but thrives in ambiguity; a strategist who’s still willing to get in the weeds when the job calls for it.

About the RevOps team:

Revenue Operations at CBI is a strategic partner to the business — not a reporting function. We build scalable systems, publish actionable insights, and drive initiatives that directly impact revenue growth.

We take a product-minded approach to operations: we experiment, measure, and refine constantly. Our mission is to create the infrastructure and intelligence that lets every GTM team operate at peak performance.

RevOps sits under the Chief Financial Officer and partners closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement to align strategy, systems, and execution.

Your Main Tasks:

  • Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to design and scale a best-in-class revenue operations system that drives visibility and alignment across the customer journey.
  • Ensure data integrity: Support Finance and leadership by maintaining a reliable CRM foundation that enables accurate, dynamic revenue forecasting and reporting.
  • Enable executive decision-making: Build and maintain dashboards that surface actionable insights across the funnel, empowering GTM teams and executives to make data-driven decisions.
  • Streamline GTM processes: Improve lead routing, opportunity management, and customer handoffs to reduce friction and improve conversion efficiency across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Support GTM planning: Partner with Sales and RevOps leadership on operational initiatives such as territory design, quota assignments, compensation plans, and renewals forecasting.
  • Be a systems and process owner: Serve as a trusted resource for sales reps and managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Deliver analytical insights: Analyze large and sometimes incomplete datasets to surface trends, risks, and growth opportunities; conduct scenario modeling to inform go-to-market and resourcing decisions.
  • Support leadership reporting: Provide ad hoc analyses and executive-ready deliverables in response to evolving business priorities, including board-level reporting needs.

You’ll be successful here if you:

  • Start with the customer. You think about how your work helps solve real customer problems — whether you’re improving a process, building a report, or cleaning up data.
  • Think big, start small. You’re not afraid to take the first step toward a big idea — testing, iterating, and building on what works.
  • Go and see for yourself. You take time to understand how teams use our systems and data, and you ask questions to see the full picture before jumping to solutions.
  • Simplify complex things. You help make processes, data, and reporting easy to understand so others can move quickly and confidently.
  • Use data to create insight. You don’t just report numbers — you’re curious about what they mean and how they can help teams make better decisions.
  • Insist on excellence. You take pride in accuracy, quality, and follow-through — delivering work you’re proud to share.
  • Live off the land. You look for creative, resourceful ways to solve problems using tools and data already available (and you’re excited to explore how AI can help).
  • Stay focused. You know how to prioritize what’s most important and get it done, even when there are competing requests.
  • Help others. You’re collaborative and dependable — a go-to teammate who supports others and contributes to shared success.
  • Learn and grow. You approach new challenges with curiosity, flexibility, and a desire to make things better each time.

What you bring to the table:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations or a related analytical field, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Salesforce (required)
  • Experience with Looker, Gong, and ZoomInfo a plus
  • Comfort working with large datasets and translating them into actionable business recommendations
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a bias toward execution

Please note this is a US-based role.

In addition to base salary listed below, this role is also eligible for a bonus opportunity.

Compensation

CB Insights Leadership Principles

At CB Insights, everyone is expected to be a leader. These leadership principles are like an operating system for our culture. Use the principles as a practical guide to making decisions.
We are what we repeatedly do. By living the principles outlined below, we will build an outstanding company and do insanely great work.

  1. Solve customer problems. It’s our highest calling. Designing a product? Start from the customer problem it solves. Updating our sales process? Flip it around, and simplify the customer buying process.
  2. Think BIG! Start small. Great changes start with a first step. Find it. Take it. Build a system around what works. This is the secret to bringing a vision to life.
  3. Go and see with your own eyes. Meet the customer, use the product, talk to the field. Great systems aren’t built from afar.
  4. Priorities: Choose one. Leaders give the gift of clarity. They find the most important thing and do it. Max power. Top speed.
  5. Danger zones:
    • Bureaucracy. May the best ideas and execution win.
    • Complexity. Leaders use frameworks and systems to simplify.
    • No commitment. Leaders don’t compromise just to get along. Debate. Disagree. But once a decision is made, commit.
    • Leaving what’s important unsaid or undone. No “circling back.”
  6. Data informs. Insight transforms.  Pull the thread. Ask why. Leaders are curious. They use what they learn to create clarity.
  7. Insist on excellence. Leaders set high standards and overcome obstacles. They do the kind of work they’re excited to share with the world.
  8. Live off the land. Leaders creatively use resources already available to them – especially AI – to execute and automate their work.
  9. Good judgment. Leaders have it. Where it comes from: insight, listening, first-hand experience. How to apply it: carefully on big, hard to reverse decisions. Swiftly on limited, easy to reverse ones.
  10. Help others. Leaders know we’re building this together.
