Working Arrangement
Job Description
Trust services is looking for a Trade Operations Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated &, passionate professional who is committed to building solid relationships and promote operational excellence. This individual will play a key role in supporting day to day operations contributing to the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review daily Cash reconciliations, Disbursements, Tax, and Lockbox accounts are reconciled and in balance by the close of business.
Identify all out of balances and take proactive steps to resolve all breaks daily.
Supervise and manage incoming/outgoing money for payrolls, manual trades, ACH activity, and check deposits.
Research and lead the resolution of trading issues and reconciliation breaks to ensure aging remains within SLA’s.
Successfully supervise and follow up on escalated items, seeing problems through to resolution and closure.
Support check deposit process by receiving and depositing checks.
Process Tax corrections and support annual production of tax forms.
Initiate and approve customer wires and book transfers.
Initiate check issue file & void check file transmissions to bank.
Assist in monthly and quarterly aged item reporting.
Collaborate with and support other members of the Reconciliation unit in completing daily functions.
Ensure proper documentation is reviewed and maintained.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and work with internal teams for future projects.
Monitor email inbox and respond to inquiries providing timely and accurate information.
Act as a backup for the team during vacation periods.
Perform other duties as assigned.
**Boston candidates will be required to support in-office check deposit process on a rotating basis

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years’ experience
Minimum 3-5 years of financial services experience ideally from a retirement plan provider.
Strong excel skills.
Exposure to Power apps and Power BI
Strong attention to detail skills
Ability to take to think outside of the box.
Ability to work independently or with minimal direction, within a team.
Knowledge of trading platforms and US retirement industry preferred
Understanding of cash reconciliations and impacts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate initiative and team player.
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem resolution skills
Ability to work in a faced paced environment with hard deadlines.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Salary range is expected to be between
$49,575.00 CAD - $82,625.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact [email protected] for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
