Job Description:

• Drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars 

• Identify and prioritise market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products

• Prepare and execute annual sales plan

• Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level

• Support the execution of plans through the Automotive Aftermarket Division's distribution network

• Take responsibility for other products/projects as required

• Spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer

• Responsible for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight

Required Experience/Qualification:

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent.

• Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification preferred

• Minimum 2 years in a professional Sales role. Experience in an Industrial Sales role preferred 

• Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage

• Strong selling and key account management skills

• High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required

• Strong business acumen and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation and listening skills

• High attention to details

• Confident manner with internal team and external customers

• Strong problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements 

• Strong and consistent recent sales results

• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential
