OVERVIEW

The Merchandise Allocation Intern will assist the Allocation team in ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. This role offers hands-on experience in data-driven inventory management and sales analysis across the retail channel. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and passionate about retail and fashion. 

The Alo internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ. 

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Support allocation strategies to optimize sales and reduce stock-outs 
• Assist with store and product-level inventory analysis and weekly reporting 
• Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment opportunities 
• Analyze sell-through, size curves, and product performance by store and product 
• Compile and interpret data to identify trends and share insights with cross-functional partners 
• Support planning around key timelines and calendar milestones, including color launches and promotional periods 
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or related field 
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Interest in retail, inventory planning, and fashion/activewear 
• Strong communication skills 
• Prior internship or coursework in allocations, retail planning or merchandising preferred 

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
