Test Development Engineer, P2

About the Role
The Test Development Engineer will support test development activities for new and existing products, with responsibilities that include both core test development work and selected New Product Engineer (NPE) tasks. This role is suited for an engineer with strong technical fundamentals, solid data analysis capability, and the ability to work across product development, qualification, and manufacturing activities. You will help develop and debug test solutions, analyze product and test data, support new product introduction, and drive YA reviews to improve yield, test performance, and product readiness.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Test Development and Debug: Support product development, characterization, qualification, and production release
  • NPE Support and Product Bring-Up: Support New Product Engineer responsibilities during new product introduction, including product bring-up, test readiness, correlation, issue tracking, and coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Data Analysis and Yield Improvement: Analyze test, yield, and characterization data to identify trends, isolate issues, and recommend actions that improve product performance and manufacturing readiness
  • YA Review Ownership: Drive YA reviews by preparing data, identifying key issues, summarizing findings, and following through on action items with the relevant teams
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product engineering, reliability, validation, quality, and manufacturing teams to support issue resolution and execution milestones

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in test development, product engineering, validation, or a related engineering role
  • Experience supporting new product introduction or NPE-related tasks
  • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret yield, characterization, and test results
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Familiarity with semiconductor product development and production environments
