Job Profile: Director, Global Marketing, HIV In-line Portfolio

Location: Rahway, NJ or Upper Gwynedd, PA

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead commercial strategy and execution for the HIV In-line product portfolio and contribute to the significant growth expected in the HIV franchise over the coming years.

The Director, HIV In-line Portfolio will lead brand strategy development and execution, together with the global commercial team and Regional Commercial Leads (RCLs) leveraging the L3 NEXT marketing framework. You will also be responsible for managing the LOE of late life-cycle brands. This position requires outstanding leadership in strategy and cross-functional collaboration. This role will provide a unique range of responsibilities and experiences and drive material impact on the future of the fast-growing HIV franchise, with strong potential for professional development and growth. This role will report to the Executive Director, Global Marketing for HIV – Daily Treatment Programs.

HIV continues to significantly affect more than 38 million individuals worldwide, with over 1.5 million new infections occurring each year. The progress of medical advancements has transformed HIV from a once-deadly sentence to a manageable chronic disease. However, as there are still challenges in management, optimization and individualization of care is crucial to alleviate the burden of HIV on individuals, communities, and societies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the marketing strategy for DORAVIRINE, including utilization of the L3 NEXT framework.

  • Serve as a key member of Global Commercial Team (GCT) and work closely with markets and regional commercial leads to gather critical input and support the co-creation and execution of the marketing strategy.

  • Develop acceleration plans and drive uptake of DORAVIRINE.

  • Lead the strategy and execution of the LOE plan for late life-cycle brands.

  • Ensure marketing strategies are data and insight-driven, working closely with the data & analytics team and market research.

  • Collaborate across divisions and functions to align on strategic and operational planning and execution by representing Human Health department and providing commercial perspectives through membership of various cross functional internal teams (Clinical Sub teams, Outcomes Research, Access, and Publications).

  • Collaborate with our Manufacturing Division and serve as commercial point on the Global Sales and Operations (GS&OP) process/meetings.

  • Work closely with the promotions team to develop content in-line with global strategy and seek input from key markets on ways to optimize the development and deployment of global resources.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and competitive advantage.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, business consulting, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create marketing strategies.

  • Executional Excellence: Proven track record of driving implementation of sophisticated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.

  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate messages/information across the enterprise and to all levels, including highest levels of senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead by influence.

  • Innovative thinking: Demonstrated ability to leverage innovation to drive results

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$187,000.00 - $294,400.00
