Let’s do this! Let’s change the world. In this vital role, Amgen is seeking a talented Human Resources (HR) Professional with a variety of HR experiences in a client-facing role. This position provides an excellent opportunity to quickly learn Amgen, the HR function, while providing visibility and opportunity to interact with a range of staff and business leaders. This position also provides the opportunity to develop solutions to a variety of complex HR challenges and will be responsible for both strategic and tactical activities, which span across the organization in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide customized organizational and people solutions to support the relevant client base ensuring alignment with business strategy and HR strategy (locally and internationally)

  • Act as a key advisor and coach to managers on the people implications of business unit strategy

  • Manage the talent sourcing process in partnership with hiring managers to ensure the right supply of talent at the right time

  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of talent through Amgen’s career and succession planning process

  • Understand key business processes to ensure HR initiatives add value to Amgen's local business goals

  • Build and maintain knowledge of Amgen's products, therapeutic areas, markets, and business-financial model

  • Contribute to HR policy development and/or review

  • Ensure a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures-policies, and monitor compliance with legal and statutory requirements

  • End to End Employee Life Cycle Management with the support from COE and HR Ops

  • Develop metrics reporting to enable effective decision-making

  • Assist on any additional tasks and responsibilities based on the business needs

Outputs:

  • HR strategic agenda based on client's business objectives

  • Annual staffing plan by functional area developed jointly with finance and management team

  • Local succession plan for client base

  • Local benefits and employee engagement program integrating corporate regional and local programs for HR and functions

  • Policies, procedures, and associated documents for compliance to local rules

  • Payroll and benefits administration

  • Delivery of Global & Regional HR programs into local context

  • Compliant and efficient HR transactions

  • Oversee execution of annual HR processes (performance evaluation, compensation planning, career development, talent management)

  • Policies, procedures, and associated documents for compliance to local rules

  • Quarterly HR metrics dashboard for local management and business review meetings

What we expect of you

Basic requirements:

  • At least 5 years of local HR generalist or HR COE experience with a keen interest to progress into a generalist role

  • Possesses 1-2 years of business partnering experience either as a HR generalist or in a HR COE such as recruitment, C&B, training or employee engagement, etc.

  • Comes from MNC background and understands matrix environment and business complexity

  • Independent self starter

  • Resilient and driven

  • High integrity

  • Technologically savvy at least with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel basics

  • Familiar with HR dashboards and tracking

  • Language – Professional English, knowledge of Thai language is considered a plus

Preferred requirements:

  • Healthcare sector background

  • Regional or HQ HR experience apart from Thailand

  • Degree in HR specific fields

  • Familiarity with Workday
