Pratt & Whitney is seeking Systems Engineer Intern at the Pratt & Whitney India Engineering Center (IEC) in Bengaluru India.  The role will span working with functional and inter-functional teams within the organizations to solve some of the exiting challenges and problems in aerospace industry.  Main responsibilities includes, engine data analysis, modelling, instrumentation that can be embedded in our current workflows. 

Responsibilities: 

Work with senior engineering organization to lead:  

• Study on future aerospace materials, methods and tools across various systems functional group

• Challenge the status-quo to explore alternate ways to solve traditional problem

• Prepare and maintain documentation as needed. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Thermals Engineering with knowledge in any one of subjects of Thermodynamics, Structures and loads

• Understanding of systems engineering with demonstrated strong curiosity driven or analytical driven mindset

Beneficial Skills : 

• Any proficiency with finite element analysis tools like NASTRAN, ANSYS, Hypermesh is a plus

• Understanding in any of the following is bonus: Python, Matlab, Image processing

• Good communication skills and working as a team player.
