Job Title: Senior Data and Business Intelligence Analyst – Customer Connectivity

Job Overview:

The Senior Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for overseeing data analytics and reporting related to customer connectivity. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping McKesson’s business strategy by analyzing data that informs billing, compensation, and connectivity initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in extracting, transforming, and consolidating data from multiple sources to create unified insights that drive decision-making across the organization. With a deep understanding of customer connectivity and B2B environments, this individual will provide critical analysis to highlight how connectivity influences the company's overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration & Reporting:

    • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to create unified views of customer connectivity.
    • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer connectivity, billing, and compensation.
    • Provide in-depth analysis to highlight the role of connectivity in McKesson’s broader business strategy.
  • Business Strategy & Insights:

    • Analyze trends, opportunities, and risks associated with customer connectivity to inform strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape connectivity strategies, billing models, and sales compensation plans.
    • Deliver clear, concise insights to cross-functional teams that drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced Analytics & Automation:

    • Leverage advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python) to automate data collection and reporting processes.
    • Utilize predictive and prescriptive analytics to forecast trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
    • Lead the development of analytics tools that support ongoing connectivity improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert for all data and reporting needs related to customer connectivity.
    • Partner with teams such as Sales Strategy, Product Management, and Compliance to understand their data requirements and provide timely insights.
    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing data quality and reporting processes.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices in business intelligence, data analytics, and customer connectivity to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field (or comparable experience).
  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
    • Experience integrating data from multiple sources and developing comprehensive business reports.
    • Proven track record of delivering insights that influence business strategy, ideally within the healthcare or technology sectors.
    • Understanding of B2B environments and customer connectivity is essential for success in this role.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
    • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
    • Experience with SQL, Python, or similar languages for data querying and automation.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems is a plus.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key trends and provide actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a simple, compelling manner to diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$83,400 - $139,000
