ENGINEERING - UNREAL ENGINE

What We Do

Unreal-powered projects have been on the bleeding edge of real-time entertainment for over 20 years. Our team of engineering experts are always innovating to improve the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.

What You'll Do

You will lead a team of highly experienced engineers working on core components of Unreal’s rendering engine, such as the Render Hardware Interface, Render Graph, streaming system, profiling and debugging systems, etc. You will tie together all the initiatives happening in this space and form a coherent vision for keeping Unreal at the forefront of innovation.

In this role, you will

  • Design, build and support state of the art rendering infrastructure used to drive Unreal Engine forward
  • Have authority and responsibility for projects that have high organizational impact
  • Work directly with partners and licensees to align the engine to practical use cases
  • Manage a team of highly skilled, experienced rendering engineers
  • Devise development plans

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a lead programmer role, with demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively
  • People management skills: mentoring and motivating engineers, delivering feedback, conflict resolution, building trust 
  • Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect low-level rendering systems
  • Broad knowledge of graphics APIs such as D3D11, D3D12, Vulkan, Metal and console platforms
  • Great debugging and profiling skills
  • Deep understanding of GPUs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Unreal Engine experience is ideal

This role is open to multiple locations across North America and Europe (including CA & WA).
