Occupational Therapy Supervisor - Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit / Acute Care Neurology

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy leader who is looking to take the next step in their career. This person will lead our 22-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and our acute neurological/ neurosurgery unit. Experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation setting and knowledge of acute care occupational therapy protocols is a must.  Experience leading interdisciplinary teams is preferred.  Explore our many innovative programs, including stroke, vestibular, cognition, vision and seating and mobility. This is a full-time position, working Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:00pm 

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s in occupational therapy
  • 3-5 years supervisory or management experience 
  • Knowledge of acute rehab and CARF regulations 
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience providing direct patient care to all age groups in the acute care and acute inpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Advanced clinical skills in working with patients with a variety of neurological/ neurosurgical problems including stroke and spinal surgeries.
  • Vestibular and NDT/Neuro-IFRAH certifications

 Required Criteria

  • Licensure required as an Occupational Therapist by the State of New York
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
  • Minimum 3 years work related experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Salary Range:

$126,500-$170,000/Annual
