Job Summary: EquipmentShare is seeking an entry-level Project Manager to support the Corporate Development (M&A) team. This role will involve managing a portfolio of M&A projects, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth execution of acquisitions and integrations. This position offers remote/hybrid work options with occasional in-person meetings at our Columbia, MO corporate office. Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with M&A leadership and key stakeholders to ensure projects related to acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures stay on track.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, and timelines for M&A initiatives.
  • Forecast resources required to meet objectives, optimizing resource allocation for efficiency.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, providing regular updates on strategy, progress, and adjustments.
  • Lead coordination with vendors, legal teams, and financial advisors, ensuring deliverables align with project goals.
  • Utilize M&A best practices and project management standards to drive execution.
  • Monitor project performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Confidently lead status meetings, preparing materials, drafting minutes, and ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized repository for all project-related documents.
  • Communicate project progress across all affected areas, including business sponsors and external partners.
  • Provide data entry support and monitor systems integrations related to financial and operational outcomes post-transaction.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within M&A or corporate development.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Knowledge of financial systems, legal contracts, and M&A processes.

Education and Experience: 

High school diploma required and bachelor's degree in operational management, project management, business management or similar preferredAt least 1-3 years experience in project management or a similar role, preferred 

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
