Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to providing and ensuring organizational compliance with security operations programs and procedures.

In this role, you will contribute to working with outside vendors to ensure the security of Fannie Mae's facilities.

The Enterprise Security Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Draft security policies and guidelines for the organization.
  • Follow procedures for the enforcement of security policies.
  • Work with customers to maintain security.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years
  • Demonstrated proficiency with electronic access control systems (EACS) and video management systems (VMS) such as Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon for monitoring, auditing, and incident response.
  • Experience conducting physical security risk assessments, site audits, and corrective action planning to ensure compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage and evaluate third‑party security vendors, including performance metrics, contract adherence, staffing oversight, and escalation management.
  • Familiarity with incident reporting platforms (e.g., Resolver, Everbridge, NC4, Salesforce security modules) and the ability to analyze incident trends to drive operational improvements.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting or coordinating corporate investigations, including evidence collection, chain‑of‑custody procedures, and collaboration with HR, Legal, or Compliance teams.
  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and enforcing security SOPs, post orders, and escalation workflows to ensure consistent operational execution across teams and locations.
  • Ability to interpret badge activity logs, security alerts, and system‑generated reports to identify anomalies, conduct follow‑up inquiries, and support internal investigations.

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience with advanced security technologies, such as AI‑enabled video analytics, license plate recognition (LPR), or integrated security operations platforms.
  • Prior involvement in business continuity planning (BCP) or emergency preparedness exercises, including tabletop drills or multi‑agency coordination.
  • Certifications such as ASIS APP/PSP, CPP coursework, or equivalent security industry training that demonstrates ongoing professional development.
  • Familiarity with security data dashboards or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for trend analysis, KPI reporting, and operational performance insights.
  • Experience supporting or operating within a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), including alarm monitoring, intelligence review, or incident triage.
  •  Knowledge of facilities operations or workplace experience processes (e.g., space management, visitor management systems, building automation) to enhance cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) to support security system upgrades, deployments, or process improvement initiatives.

Target Salary Range: $79,000 to $97,000 a year

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
