CME Group is currently looking for a Clearing House Risk Year-around Intern

The Pricing and Valuation Analyst Interns assist the daily OTC settlement process and focus on certain OTC products, including Financial and Commodities futures & options. The incumbent also takes an independent role in at least one of the research projects, such as, data mining, new product launching, settlement system design and calibration etc. They will work with the operation team to help clients understand the CME OTC pricing and valuation.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Addresses client pricing inquiry

  • Leads Daily OTC Settlement

  • Participates independently in research projects
     

 

Software Skills and Requirements:

  • Master Degree preferred: Math Finance, Applied Mathematics, or Financial Engineering

  • 1 to 3+ Years Relevant Experience

  • Python, SQL, APIs, Tableau, Google Cloud Workspace (Big Query, UDAP, etc)
     

Other Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree

  • Hybrid Schedule - able to come into the CME Group Chicago office (located at 20 S Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606 or 300 Vesey Street, NY, NY 10282) at least four times per week.

  • Able to work 40 hours per week

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
