Introduction:

We are seeking a Data Conversion Developer to join our team! As a Data Conversion Developer at ABC Glofox, you will play a pivotal role in transferring both new and existing customer data from their current billing systems to ABC Glofox. This role involves developing, coding, designing, and analyzing data using various software tools such as Actian, SQL, SQL stored procedures, and MS Access. Proficiency in crafting and implementing scripts to analyze and ensure data integrity is essential. Additionally, the role requires adeptness in debugging and conducting quality assurance analysis for intricate code and scripts involved in data migration. Regular collaboration with project teams and customers is integral, as this position significantly influences the success of our implementation process.
 

This role requires working from our local Hyderabad office 2-3x a week. 
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources to destination systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring the ETL processes meet business needs.

• Develop and maintain data integration solutions using ETL tools, scripting languages, and SQL queries.

• Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data quality and integrity.

• Troubleshoot ETL job failures and performance issues, implementing necessary optimizations.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, ensuring clear and concise records of procedures and configurations.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-related initiatives and projects.
   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development, including designing, coding, testing, and implementing ETL workflows

• All applicants must be able to work from our Hyderabad office 2-3x a week 

• Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Actian, Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and strong SQL skills

• Experience with databases and data warehouses, including data modeling and schema design

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation and transformation

• Certification in relevant ETL tools or technologies preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting
