Job Description:

  • Permanent, part time, (22 hours per week) Mon - Wed, Kew location

About the Role

You will become part of the support team that cares for some of the most vulnerable residents in aged care. You will support the team by contributing to the cleanliness of the facility and in providing meal support.

  • General housekeeping within residents' private room and bathroom.
  • Clean the facility's communal areas and maintain a high standard
  • Undertake scheduled daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and wiping down surfaces.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks

The classification this position will be PS21 ($55,109 per annum pro rata)


Your Contribution

  • Previous housekeeping experience an advantage
  • Current Food Safety Certificate Level 1 (Food Handler course)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work to timelines
  • Compassion and understanding for older individuals with complex backgrounds
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain
