Job Description

The Family of Companies and Self-Perform Admin Recruiting Manager requires close interactions with field operations, SPW/FoC Leaders, hiring managers and DPR's extended Talent Acquisition team to Hire, Inspire, Develop & Grow the best talent in the industry. The Recruiting Manager will partner with Talent Acquisition Operations and Talent & Development Leader on executing on a long-range Talent Acquisition Strategy that will support DPR's 2030 goal of being one of the Most Admired Companies by 2030.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage members of the SPW/FoC talent acquisition team, including talent sourcers, recruiting coordinators, and recruiters; support their success and career development.
  • Provide regular training, development, and feedback to recruiting team.
  • Work with leaders and hiring managers to create and execute staffing plans.
  • Schedule and lead staffing update calls with appropriate hiring managers and leadership teams.
  • Ensure recruiting team is functioning on a proactive basis versus reactive for the business and recruiting goals are aligned with overall SPW/FoC business objectives.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process, from sourcing through on-boarding.
  • Drive DPR's recruitment strategy to attract candidates through DPR's website, social media outlets, job boards, network, referrals, job fairs, trade schools and other events.
  • Partner with the Talent and Development Center of Excellence on recruiting and talent associated initiatives as requested from the business.
  • Provide regular recruiting updates to leadership and demonstrate ROI.
  • Manage recruiting team expenditures and ensure financial adherence to DPR policies.
  • Oversee local and regional networking/hiring events including community organizations, workforce development groups, government programs, job fairs, trade shows, speaking engagements, student career events, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition Operations, Business Partners, People Practices, Comms & Branding, Field Teams and SPW/FoC Leadership.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Ensure recruiting team regularly updates and maintains all recruiting data systems, trackers and ATS. Establish KPI's and metrics for recruiting team.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with Self-Perform/FoC leaders and superintendents, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Manage and approve external recruiting and 3rd party staffing partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement around DPR's recruitment process and workflow, including: the application processes, retention and recognition programs, development of training programs and referral programs.
  • Observe legal compliance requirements within the talent acquisition process. Oversee candidate employment verifications and exit interviewing as needed.
  • Assist with and/or conduct new hire orientation and other onboarding programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies & procedures to serve as a resource in recruitment and selection.
  • Continuously improve recruiting process and objectives with feedback from recruiting team, hiring managers and leadership.
