Job Description
Summary
You will manage the activities of professional direct sales or technical sales positions. You will attain sales objectives for branch/area. You will manage the direct sale of products or services in a limited geographic area, or responsible for a limited industry or product line on a geographic basis.
You will be reporting to COUNTRY MANAGER_SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA & BRUNEI.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will manage the activities of professional direct sales or technical sales positions
- You will attain sales objectives for branch/area
- You will manage the direct sale of products or services in a limited geographic area, or responsible for a limited industry or product line on a geographic basis
- You will work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
- You will implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establish and assure adherence to forecasts, budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements
- You will establish operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinate account managers
- Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
- You will be involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have companywide effect
- You will Interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and customers
- You will require the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
- You will network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
- You will coach sales people, performance discussions with subordinates
- People development; ensures succession planning within division
- You will forge cross-team collaboration in matrix environment and can avoid or solve disputes between departments
- You will participate in strategy building and execution within area of responsibility
- You will promote, coach and elevate adoption of disciplined sales execution tools (CRM, account planning, etc)
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Typically requires 8 years management experience
- Have wide-ranging management experience. Resolve complex issues in creative ways
- Bachelor's degree
- Solid expertise in Industry Knowledge and Software business
- Expertise on our products, with expertise in Prospecting & New Customer Development being a strong requirement, w expertise in Project / Implementation Management and sales fundamentals with a basic level of expertise in Market Research (Market & Economic Trends, Customer Buying Behavior, Competitor Research)
- Experience with diverse teams and building strong work with government entities and the community is a requirement
- Exhibits proficiency and personal accountability for business/project performance and meeting customer needs
